Nanoplastia is not hair straightening.
Straightening chemically breaks and rebuilds your hair's bonds. It's permanent, and it's harsher. Nanoplastia realigns the fibre instead — so it softens your texture rather than erasing it. Your curl pattern loosens, it doesn't disappear, and it fades out gradually with no hard regrowth line.

Raj checks your texture, density, porosity and colour history, then confirms your exact price and time. Five minutes, no charge. If nanoplastia isn't right for your hair, this is where we say so.

Clarifying wash
A deep-clean shampoo strips product buildup, oil and hard-water residue. Without this the formula can't get into the hair properly.

Blow-dry to 80%
The formula needs a specific moisture level to bond. Not soaking, not bone dry.

Applied in thin sections, root to tip, then left to process. This is the slow part — and it's where rushing shows up three weeks later.

Ours don't use it. No fumes, no burning eyes, no headache afterwards. It's also why we're comfortable doing nanoplastia on clients who are sensitive to strong chemicals.

Keratin keeps more of your natural body and costs less, starting at ₹5,000. If your frizz is mild and you mainly want shine and softness, keratin is the better value. How long does nanoplastia last?
Four to six months for most hair types. It fades gradually rather than reverting suddenly, with no regrowth line. Hard water, sulphate shampoos and heavy heat styling all shorten it — HSR Layout's water is hard enough that a basic shower filter makes a real difference.
Is nanoplastia safe? Does it contain formaldehyde?
The systems we use — Dione, SK by Sarah K, Copacabana and MK — are formaldehyde-free. No fumes, no burning eyes, no chemical smell during the appointment. Formaldehyde-based treatments are still sold at lower price points elsewhere in Bangalore. We don't stock them.
How long does a nanoplastia appointment take?
Two to three hours depending on your hair's length and density. We'll tell you exactly when you book, so you can plan your day around it.
Can I wash my hair after nanoplastia?
Yes — the same day. There's no waiting period at all. That's true of every treatment we do at Desio, not just nanoplastia: the formulas and techniques we use seal in the chair rather than over the next two or three days. Switch to a sulphate-free, salt-free shampoo from then on to protect the result.
Can I get nanoplastia on coloured or highlighted hair?
Usually yes — colour-treated hair generally takes nanoplastia well. If your hair is heavily bleached, Raj will strand-test its strength first and may recommend a strengthening treatment beforehand. If you're planning to colour, do it two weeks before the nanoplastia or four weeks after.
Will nanoplastia make my hair completely straight?
No, and it isn't meant to. It removes frizz and bulk and leaves hair smooth with natural movement — your curl pattern loosens, it doesn't disappear. If you want a poker-straight finish, ask us about smoothening instead.
Can men get nanoplastia treatment?
Yes. We're a unisex salon and do nanoplastia for men regularly, usually for frizz and coarse texture. Shorter hair means a shorter appointment and a lower price.
